Eva participated has been a Berlin-based freelance artist since 1991. She participated in Nagasawa Art Park Artist-in-Residence Program in 2003 and in MI- LAB Lake Kawaguchi Mokuhanga Mid-career Artist-in-Residence Program in 2012. Her solo exhibition was organized at CfSHE Gallery in November 2014.
Eva Pietzcker is a German woodblock print artist.She using watercolor woodblock printing techniques, her works reflect the soft light and shadow of mountain and waterfront views. Her works abstract from these familiar natural landscapes while taking advantage of both the natural features of water-based woodcut printing and the texture of Japanese paper to remind the viewer of some distant memory or story. After undergoing training in Nagasawa Art Park in 2003 she has deepened her study of aqueous woodcut to high international acclaim.
