Gekkan Bijutsu is a monthly art magazine for art lovers and especially collectors, first published in 1975. The magazine focuses on the monthly introduction of artists active in the fine art world of Japanese and Western paintings, crafts and sculpture, and features contemporary artists, posthumous reevaluations, domestic and international auctions and art fair trends. In recent years, the magazine has also hosted the newcomer art award "Debut", which alongside panelists such as Kunio Motoe of Tama Art University and Megumi Tatejima of the Sato Museum of Art, supports elite up-and-coming artists. http://www.gekkanbijutsu.co.jp/
