行方不明になったペットを探す貼紙の写真を複写したシリーズ。日常の中で何気なく撮られたであろうこれらの写真のほとんどは、PCや携帯の中で忘れ去られていたはずである。しかし、被写体が不在になったことにより、感傷を引き起こし、また、その情報としての役割から外に晒されることになった。私はそこに、他人のプライベートな視覚経験を覗き見る後ろめたい喜び、そして、時間や環境の変化によって価値や役割を変えていく、写真というメディアの特異性を感じ惹き付けられる。

The series of copied photographs of posters looking for lost pet animals. Most of these pictures were probably taken casually in daily life, being forgotten in computers or cell phones. However, absence of the subjects caused sentiment and these photographs were displayed to the world because of their roles as information. I feel a guilty pleasure peeping at private visual experience of other people, and the specificity of photography as media that changes its value and role with time and environment.
