シンプルなものとカオティックなもの。土に無数の穴を穿った上で焼き上げることは、普通のやきものに比べると不自然なほどに土の特性に抗う行為だが、出来上がったものはその労力を忘れるほどに静かになる。焼成することでこの背反する要素を表現していきたい。

I am also very interested in the contrast between simplicity and chaos. Piercing so many hols in the surfaces of these works is an intense process (one might even say chaotic), yet the finished poeces have a very tranquil quality. I want to express this dichotomy in my work.
