Tsuchiya's process has involved a minimal intervention towards everyday objects since the late 1990's. His multimedia approach involves moving image, photography, 2D and sculptural works, installation and programming. In recent years he has collaborated with Mami Kosemura and Ataka Kentaro (architect). Select exhibitions include: "6 artists born in 1974" The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma (2014), "Where has Yesterday Gone?" with Kentaro Taka (2013, 2015).
Tsuchiya began his practice in the late 1990s. Though his work encompasses diverse formats such as film, photography, 2D works, objet and installation, his primary method has been "interventionism". This particular work is part of a net art series using a web program that has continued in recent years.
In this work, the scroll bars of multiple pages are shown simultaneously on the same domain; those webpages scroll repeatedly and autonomously. The appearance of the scroll bar changes depending on the OS of each virtual machine.
