Shiraki's collection began in his student days and has continued for 30 years, centered around contemporary art. From early on he has visited art fairs, galleries and museums both in and outside of Japan, and being married has collected a wide variety of things regardless of origin, including Japanese "Herbs and Dorothy". Shiraki is an unconditional supporter of art whose collection has been presented widely in exhibitions and the media, including the first "Why not live for art?" Exhibition at Tokyo Opera City.
