Participated in the planning of "Art Line Kashiwa" in 2009. Began collecting contemporary art in 2011. At first, Fusawa purchased works in the same sense one might buy clothes to wear, but after commissioning work for his headquarter's rooftop sign in 2012, he also began to purchase with the aim of supporting artist activity while also considering the potential impact on the town. Rather than artist reputation, Fusawa places high imporance on both form and techique, as well as the artist's ability to follow their insticts.
