Kansai-based Shigeru NISHIKAWA started displaying artworks from 2009.\u00a0From then on, he gained recognition by artworks that feature both delicate and bold nature.\u00a0Yet following 2013, he has reduced working from the outside and has drawn in to his original state as an artist.\u00a0His newest works in the series, \u201cunder construction or destruction,\u201d borrow the motif of buildings covered by protective sheets during construction. Underlying these images, we find the artist\u2019s deepest reflections on our environment, as well as a challenge to find new possibilities in oil painting. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
