AINWOODS born 1994 in Taipei,Taiwan. Since beginning my art, I have focused on elements of LIGHT, EMOTION, and COLOR. In the following years, I realized that “color” is how I can truly express my feelings of depression. Then I started to use a lot of different colors, shedding light on different topics in my works to release my sadness and depression. These colors come from my past, from my experience of deep depression and sadness, as well as my childhood. My new series titled, “SERIES ABOUT LOVE”, is about how strongly I feel through colors. The images come from models in my “Body Language Performance”, who are all in love and seen in colors during their performance.

The amount of raw passion in AINWOODS’ photographs may bring a kind of uneasiness. Its composition is intriguing in its way that pushes aside background information and draws the subject out from a certain angle. AINWOODS’ uniquely intense coloring, contrast and lighting which make up his photographs are not only vivid, but also glossy. The images of the people and landscapes he uses as subjects make you feel the stream of time , projecting a little near future. Photographs, which captivate the viewer at first glance, are either the ones that knock you down flat in an instant, or the ones that slowly bring awe and beauty. AINWOODS’ work combines both.
