本学美術学科で絵画と彫刻を学び、今後活躍が期待できる人選をいたしました。学内では学ぶことのできない日本の美術マーケットにアプライすることでコレクターやキュター、そのほかの様々な業態の方々とコミュニケーションをとります。今回は、あえてプライベートコレクションをイメージし、教育現場からは発信しなくても良いとされてきた表現を中心に会場構成をしました。海外から見ると閉鎖的に見えると揶揄されることの多いマーケットの現状から、会場に訪れた人々とどのようにすればアートの文脈と魅力的な文化の創造について社会に発信できるのか、あるいは個人にとって美術とはどのようなものなのか等々、生のご意見をうかがい知見を拡げられるチャンスになればと思っております。
Exbition's Information
The artists have studied painting and sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University, and have the potential to flourish in the future. Through this art fair, we hope it would be a good opportunity for them to expose the context of art and attractive cultural creation to the society, as well as to expand their knowledge what the art mean to individuals by applying to the art market in Japan and communicating with the collectors, curators and audiences.

Exhibitor Information
1966年に設立。服飾や室内建築のデザイナー／ジャーナリストであった桑澤洋子により、デザインや美術の創作活動を、時代の精神や社会の創造に深く結び付いたものと捉え、造形活動を広く社会的な観点から探究し実践する美術大学として開学。デザインと美術を「造形」という広い観点から総合的に捉え、固定概念にとらわれない柔軟な発想力で、学生の独自性を育む教育を実践している。2019年より、タグライン『だれかで終わるな。』を制定。美術・デザインの高度な教育を通じて、学生一人ひとりの独自性の確立を支援し、試行錯誤をおそれず、しなやかさの中にも強さを持ち、自らの力で社会を切り拓く人材育成を目指している。
Tokyo Zokei University was established in 1966 by a fashion and interior designer / journalist, Yoko Kuwasawa, as an art university to study and practice formative activities in various social aspects of views. The concept lies that creative activities of art and design are strongly related to the spirit to the era and creation of society. Regarding design and art as “Zokei (creation)” from a boarder perspective, we have been taking flexible ideas to nurture students’ own uniqueness rather than clinging to stereotype. The university formed a new tag line “DAREKA DE OWARUNA (Never end yourself as someone)” in 2019. Through higher education in art and design, we support our students to establish their own identities, and aim to cultivate human resources, who will never afraid of trial and error but be flexible and tough at the same time, and will open up the society by themselves.
