GALLERY ART POINTはフランスモンマルトル “ギャラリー大和” の日本窓口として 東京築地にて誕生いたしました。  その後、銀座並木通りにコンテンポラリーアートギャラリーとして開廊し、現在までこの銀座の地でたくさんのアーティストの展覧会をプロデュースしてまいりました。 “アートポイントは、今の作家と、同時代の空気を吸って一緒に生きていく事が目的でもある”という創業者の理念を大切に、2020年開廊51年を迎えました。  アーティストの皆様が広くご活躍いただくために、銀座のスペース以外にも様々なサポートを行ってまいります。 今後も広く現代作家の紹介に努めるとともに作品を積極的に市場に流通させることによって、美術界全体を活性化させたいと願っております。 次世代を担う作家の展覧会等を中心に企画展を開催するとともに今後の活躍が期待できるアーティストを発掘、支援し、様々なジャンルの作家が利用できるオープンギャラリーとしても運営しております。

GALLERY ART POINT was originally established in Tsukiji, Tokyo as a Japanese contact point for “Gallery Yamato” in Montmartre, France. Its contemporary art gallery located in Ginza Namiki-dori is currently working as an artistic producer, hosting exhibitions of many local talented artists. “ART POINT is a media and a place to keep alive contemporary artists and the contemporary art scene” as the vision of its founder is still the soul of the gallery on its 51th Anniversary, celebrated this year (2020).Other galleries have been inaugurated outside of Ginza to broadly support many artists in their creative activities. Together with our devotion in presenting contemporary artists to the world, we aim forward to a revitalization of the world of art. Our activities are also about discovering and supporting artists of the next generation, as well as providing an open gallery space for them.
