アメリカ・オレゴン州生まれ。幼少期に6年間、日本の佐賀県と静岡県に滞在。アメリカの大学では美術史を専攻。大学卒業後、山梨県で2年間小学生の英語講師として勤務。2016年、上智大学院日本現代美術科を修了。現在、アーツ千代田3331にてインターナショナルコーディネーターとしてAIR 3331のレジデンスプログラムに携わる。

Born 1990 in Oregon, USA. Emily spent six years of her childhood in Japan’s Saga and Shizuoka prefectures. After graduating from Willamette University with a BA in Art History, she moved to Yamanashi prefecture where she served as an elementary school English teacher for two years. In 2016, she completed her MA in Japanese Studies with a focus in Contemporary Japanese Art at Sophia University. Currently, she is the international coordinator at 3331 Arts Chiyoda, where she runs the residency program known as “AIR 3331”.
