1992年愛知県生まれ。現在は三重県を拠点に活動。自身の生活経験の中でとらえた様々なものの視点をモチーフに制作している。ペインティングを中心に、身近な素材を用いた立体制作や空間表現を行っている。
Born in Aichi, Japan in 1992. Currently, live and work in Mie, Japan. I create works with motifs from the perspectives of various things that I gained from my own experience in life. Focusing on painting, I am working on three-dimensional production and spatial expression using familiar materials.

川角岳大の絵画には、人間の枠組みから外れて、まるで動物の体や植物そのものから眺めたような、視点の転換がある。川角はしばしば犬を描くが、そこではぺたっと伏せて土のひんやりとした感触を味わい、また力いっぱい走って空間が捩じれるような、まるで犬そのものの感触が、地面に近い層でそのまま定着しているような印象を与える。また山を描いた絵画では、草いきれが沸き立ち、森の木々が気韻を発している様子が、まるで植物に成り替わったかのように描かれている。人間を離れて動物や自然そのもの視点で捉えたかの川角の絵画は、観る者を自由にする。
