"1974年北海道生まれ。言葉や文字を扱い「接続と分断」を考察する映像インスタレーションや立体作品を制作している。 主な展覧会として、フランス、ニュージーランド、北アイルランドでの個展。カナダ、ドイツ、中国でのグループ展など札幌を拠点に国内外で活動。 2020年 第3回 本郷新記念札幌彫刻賞。2010年JRタワーアートボックス 最優秀賞。2006年 「第23回産経国際書展」入選 。2000年ビッグコミックスピリッツ努力賞。1995年ヤングマガジン奨励賞。 2012年より500m美術館の企画、札幌駅前通地下歩行空間でのPublic Art Research Center [PARC]の企画やThink Schoolの企画運営など現代美術の企画も行う。2015年一般社団法人PROJECTA設立。2017年よりnaebono art studio運営メンバー。
"TAKAHASHI Kiyoshi (b.1974) works and lives in Sapporo, Japan. His work deals with words and letters, and examines ""connection and disconnection"". In recent years, he has also presented a video installation about indifference. Major exhibitions include solo shows in France, New Zealand and Northern Ireland. He was awarded the 3rd Hongo Shin Memorial Sapporo Sculpture Prize in 2020, the Grand Prize at the JR Tower Art Box in 2010, the Honorable Mention at the 23rd Sankei International Book Exhibition in 2006, the Big Comic Spirits Effort Award in 2000, and the Young Magazine Encouragement Award in 1995. Since 2012 he has been involved in the planning of the 500m Art Museum, the Public Art Research Center [PARC] at the Sapporo Ekimae Dori Underground Pedestrian Space and the Think School. In 2015 he founded the general incorporated association PROJECTA. Since 2017 he has been a member of the management of NAEBONO art studio.
「水たまりを飛びこえて」 北海道と本州をへだてる津軽海峡には、哺乳類や鳥類分布をわける生物地理上の境界線ブラキストン線があります。生物をわけるブラキストン線を、むしろ創造の源泉とし北海道で意欲的に制作している5組の作家を推薦します。共同と集合と個人とが混ざりあい新しい場所のあり方を探している0地点。光のグラデーションをモチーフにインスタレーションや写真を展開する今村育子。現実に覆われたヴェールをアイロニカルに剥がす大橋鉄郎。世界の輪郭を曖昧な豊かさへと融解させる小林知世。何十にも積層された重層な世界観を構築する武田浩志。それぞれの想像力と置換力で、海峡を水たまりのように気軽に飛びこえていくのです。
