アカデミックな美術教育を通らずセルフトートで描き続け、画家としてのキャリアを築いてきた木原。 道具だけでなく手や肘や足など体をつかってダイナミックに描く作品群は強烈な印象を与える。
Artist Chiharu Kihara is self-taught. She has built her career as a painter without going through academic art education. Besides tools she uses her own body, such as her hands, elbows, and feet, to paint; naturally, her works are dynamic and striking.
