Studio & Gallery IN 3331（B108）
台湾出身のチェン・チン・リュー (スーザン)は、2017年に国立台湾芸術大学でテキスタイルの分野において美術学修士号を取得。AIR 3331での1ヶ月間の滞在で、日本・中国・西洋の芸術性を研究し、柔らかい素材を使用した新たな視覚的言語の表現を試みます。彼女は自身の視点を通して、東京で発見した今なお残る伝統を、アーツ千代田3331内にあるレジデンス専用スタジオ&ギャラリー IN 3331（B108）に持ち帰り作品に織り込んでいきます。3331 ART FAIR 内での企画として、チェンの東洋と西洋の技巧の新様式を兼ね備えたテキスタイル作品とともに、彼女の制作現場もご覧いただける貴重な機会です。
AIR3331 Project Space（313）
AIR 3331プロジェクトスペース(313)では、 AIR 3331のもう一つの制作場所である岩本町スタジオ(千代田区岩本町3-4-8) を拠点に活動を行う4人のアーティストのグループ展を開催します。 オーレリー・クリセティグ(スイス／マルチメディア)、ポーラ・メンチェン(スペイン／ビジュアルアート)の2人は、東京の地元の地域と関わりながらそれぞれが持つ背景や創作スタイルを通して作品の表現に繋げています。様々な国籍や文化を持つアーティスト達が、3331とともに東京の中心で得たものの一端を感じていただける機会に、皆様をご招待します。

Studio & Gallery IN 3331（B108）
Born in Taiwan, artist Chien-Chin Liu (Susan) earned her MFA at National Taiwan University of Arts in 2017 with a specialization in textile arts. As part of AIR 3331, she joins us in Tokyo for a 1-month stay, through which she explores Japanese, Chinese, and Western aesthetics in an attempt to create a new visual language in the form of soft sculptures. While using the private space of the Studio & Gallery IN 3331 (B108) to immerse herself in production, she takes her observations of traditions found in the local Tokyo environment and weaves them back into her work. With the event of the 3331 ART FAIR, audiences have the special opportunity to view Chien-Chin’s workspace and resulting textile pieces that offer us new forms of Western and Eastern artistry.
AIR3331 Project Space（313）
The AIR 3331 project space (313) presents for the 3331 ART FAIR a group show representing the creative and experimental processes unique to the artist in residence experience, especially based in 3331 and central Tokyo. Working alongside one another for close to one month in the nearby Iwamotocho Studio (3-4-8 Iwamotocho, Chiyoda City), the artists – Paula Menchen (Spain/Visual Artist), and Aurelie Crisetig (Switzerland/Photography) – respond to the local environment through their own backgrounds and methods of creation. We invite you to take this opportunity to get a glimpse of the explorations of international artists staying and working with 3331 at the heart of Tokyo.

“AIR 3331”は アーツ千代田 3331が2010年から運営するアーティト イン レジデンス事業です。国内外からアート、デザイン、パフォーマンス、ファッション等の分野を牽引するアーティストやクリエイター達を迎え入れています。これまで、アジア、アメリカ大陸、オーストラリア、ヨーロッパから様々な国籍を持つ160名以上が3331のプロジェクトに参加し、多くの展覧会、ワークショップ、イベントを開催して、東京のアートシーンと3331に新たな展望をもたらしました。
“AIR 3331” is an artist in residence program ran by 3331 Arts Chiyoda since 2010. The program accommodates domestic and international artists and creators, welcoming the participation of individual and group initiatives in fields such as art, design, performance, and fashion. To date, over 160 artists from Asia, North America, South America, Australia, Europe, and other nationalities have joined 3331 to undertake projects, carry out research, and produce new work that has led to the realization of countless exhibitions, workshops, and events – bringing new perspectives right to the heart of Tokyo’s art scene and the 3331 community.
