思い出せない大切な物があるかもしれない。いや、きっとある。いつか見た風景も出来事も感情も体験した事全てが今の自分の一部だ。思考のトーンや言葉のテンポも今までの経験で出来上がったピッチだ。 キャンバスを走る筆の流れも、食べ物の咀嚼のテンポも無意識に自分に合った速度を見つけんたんだ。 きっと自分自身が生きやすいように人それぞれの生きやすいテンポがある。僕は今まで作品という物を情景の保管装置にしてきた、過去に囚われる節がある。今でもそうかもしれない、でもコロナが広がって状況が変わってから過去に想いを馳せる事が減っていった。過去ではなく今、今と未来。もっと先のことを考えたいと絵を描きながら思った。テンポが変わったのを感じた。変化したいのだ。これからの僕の作品は 自分自身と周囲の他者、そしてこれからこの作品に出会う人の為にある。そうなるように努力する。死んでも作品は未来に突き進んでほしい。未来に生きる絵を描きたい。

There might be something important that I cannot remember. I'm sure there are.
The sights I have seen, the events, the feelings, and everything I have experienced is part of who I am now.
My past experiences have created my pitches along with the tone of my thoughts and the tempo of my words.
The flow of a brushstroke on a canvas or even the tempo of chewing food, I have subconsciously found a speed that suits me.
I am sure that each person has a tempo that is easy to live at like I do.
I have always used my artwork as storage for the scenes I have seen. I often got caught up in the past.
Probably still I do now but after the pandemic started and the situation changed, I began to think less and less about the past.
Not the past, but the present. The present and the future.
While I was drawing, I thought I wanted to think further about the future.
I felt the tempo had changed.
I want to change.
My work from now on will be for myself, others around me, and those who will encounter this work in the future.
I will try to make it happen. Even if I die, I hope my work goes forward into the future. I want to create paintings that live in the future.
