作品内に登場する強く二次元性を強調されたキャラクターは、自身の幼少期の記憶を元に描かれた現実世界（記憶の中の物語）に介入する異物のように描いています。『記憶』という、現実そのものではあるものの、そこには意図しない脚色や欠落により生じたある種の不安定さを残した世界が広がり、その不確かで朧げな記憶の世界の中に、創作物の象徴である『キャラクター』を自身の代わりに代入することで、記憶の中にある物語を0から創作しようと試みています。
The character appearing in my artworks, emphasized by a strong two-dimensionality, is expressed as a strange object that intervenes in the real world (a story within memories) drawn from my own childhood memories. Although “memories” are reality itself, there is an unfolding world of uncertainty caused by unintentional dramatization and omission. By having this “character”, who is a symbol of creativity, enter in my place this uncertain and hazy world of memories, I am attempting to create the story in my memories from 0.
