羊画廊は1978年に開設し、主に日本の現代版画と新潟の作家の企画展を中心に行っています。
特に版画芸術は誰でも気軽に接することの出来る美術作品として、常に多くの企画展の開催を予定しています。
1990年代にはヨーロッパ・極東ロシアの作家達の企画個展、近年は海外のアートフェア参加へと展開しております。
また、"アートをより多くの人達に楽しんでもらう"という開設当初からの志を忘れず、国内外の優れた作品をご紹介したいと思っております。画廊が多くの人々にとって心ときめく作品との出会いの場となれましたら幸いです。

HITSUJI-GARO has started since 1978 in Niigata city. We mainly exhibit Japanese contemporary prints and art works produced by artists in Niigata. Many featured exhibitions are scheduled since printmaking art works in particular are something everyone can enjoy. In the 1990s, the gallery featured artists based in Europe and The Russian Far East. In recent years, we participate in art fairs in other countries as well. Then 2011, the second gallery, Co-HITSUJI-GARO was opened. We are excited about young artists presenting their works there. We are also excited to introduce amazing art works from all over the world. Our greatest ambition is for more and more people to become interested in art and we hope the gallery is a place where people can experience wonderful art works.
