私にはいくつもの顔がある。キュレーターであり、父であり、夫であり、未だ息子であり、またそのどれにも帰属しない旅人である。今回はアートフェアなので、そんな「いくつもの私」のこんぐらかった毎日で、ともに暮らしたいアートをセレクトしてみた。すると専門家としての審美眼の狭間に、思春期にさしかかった二人の娘を持つ父親としての顔が見え隠れしたりするから面白い。 飛田正浩と前田エマがフィールドにするファッションは、言うまでもなく生活のなかにあるアートワールドである。ファッションは街の“いま”を敏感に反映するし、時には大きな影響を与えたりする。小田香が個人的に描きためていた作品を紹介したいと思ったのは、マネタイズが難しいドキュメンタリーフィルム製作において、絵画の制作・収入が監督のサポートにつながると考えたからである（クリスト&ジャンヌ=クロードのドローイングのように）。 人生をともに歩む家族や友のため、そして私自身の精神の安寧のためにアートを購入し飾るパーソナルなキュレーションもまた、このアートフェアでみなさんに推奨したいところである。何がアートかを決めるのはトレンドでもマーケットでもなく、私たちの日々である。

As a person, I have many faces. I am a curator, a father, a husband, a son, and outside of these circles I am also a traveler. This time, as a recommender for the art fair, I selected artworks that I would like to be surrounded by in my topsy-turvy day to day life made up by the many kinds of "me". In doing so, I find it interesting that viewers can spot my face as a father of two teenage daughters hidden in between my aesthetic eye as a specialist, The field of fashion practiced by Masahiro Tobita and Emma Maeda is needless to say, an art world within our everyday lives. With its sensibility, fashion reflects the "now" of our city, and can at times have a great influence on matters. The reason why I wanted to introduce the collected personal paintings of Kaori Oda was in consideration of how difficult it is to monetize from making documentary films, and I thought that I could support her filming through the sale of her artworks (much like the drawings of Christo and Jeanne-Claude). Lastly, through this art fair, I am sharing with all of you the personal curation of artworks I buy and display for the sake of my family and friends who walk together with me in life, and for pacifying my spirit.
