Out of all the two-dimensional artworks displayed on walls, I especially selected artists who challenge their works' very flatness. What's more, they do not fall into the category of so-called painting, but are instead photographs and prints. I chose these becasue of the fact that they are particularly subjective media,as they are simply the surface layer of images made by print technology. An image is nothing more than an illusion without physical form that is reflected into our retina and burned into the back of our brains. Marcel Duchamp referred to images using the invented term "Inframince" for an ultra-thin film. This paper-thin surface is made up of the information media era and current digital data reflecting the real space where we exist, while at the same time, it transmits the boundary between the space of information in which people do not exist, both sides made passable. Considering the idea that ancient art was thought of as a medium (spirit) that connected this world and that world, it can be said that all of today's media and art forms are generally recurring in that same manner. Things of this world and things of that world. Life and death.
